OCR: Sweden is rich in minerals, pig iron, copper and silver. While mining and quarrying account for only 0.3% of GDP, they underpin other industrial sectors. Despite its abundant uranium deposits, making up 80% of the European total, Sweden has only four nuclear power stations. The government has ordered that nuclear power be phased out by the year 2010. As a result, Sweden is importing energy from Germany, some of it from nuclear reactors.
